* Reclaimed and recycled metals and conflict-free diamonds : Not only do we reclaim metal at the shop ourselves, but we also source our metals from a supplier that only sells recylced or reclaimed metals. All of the precious metals they offer are recycled from the Earth’s existing metal supply, which means we DO NOT use metals purchased from mining companies. Also, the diamonds we use are certified conflict-free using the Kimberly Process Certification System. A joint government, industry and civil society initiative, the Kimberley Process Certification System (KPCS) imposes extensive requirements on its members to enable them to certify shipments of rough diamonds are "conflict-free". We also use conflict-free Canadian diamonds and recycled diamonds.
* Redesign and repurposing : We are experts at redesigning jewelry. Did you know that over 85% jewelry rarely or never gets worn? Often, pieces are inherited, received as gifts or just loose their luster and remain stashed away.
